Oh my God. This book was atrocious. WRen was supposed to be the grumpy character, and Miles was supposed to be the golden retriever sunshine character. But this man cried way too many times like even if this was a girl character, I’d be annoyed Wren was so annoying. I didn’t like her at all. I thought we would go more into her love of writing, and wanting to be an author, but we never did. I don’t know why she stuck with ice-skating when her mom kind of forced her. I thought she’d give it up and just do it for fun. The whole reason they were fake dating was so Ren could get people to come to the showcase and then the showcase happened like halfway through the book, and they never mentioned if there were a lot of people there or not. Both miles and wren had two similar traumas about love. I hated her nickname for him milesy. Like what is that what else? Oh her friend Gigi added nothing to the story. She was just plain rude and obnoxious. Her other friends were also meh. They didn’t really do Either nor did Miles friends. There were way too many characters mentioned. I hated how when they first slept together She ran away immediately and he went to get drunk at a bar. Also, sidenote he totally had an alcohol problem that really wasn’t addressed like he was 19 that shouldn’t be happening. He had the added trauma of his friend dying. I also didn’t love the third act break up. Like in that time they did all they wanted to do but then when they got back together, they were like I couldn’t have done it without you. And I was like you did I have never not wanted to finish a book. I truly did not care how this book ended. it was horrible. Also, there were so many grammatical errors, spelling errors and missing words. It was so annoying.

1.5 stars that was painful to say the least. Started off okay and then just got progressively worse. Wren is so fucking annoying and childish. Was doing some serious skimming in the last 100 pages. Shall not be recommending or reading again. I need to stop taking tik tok quotes as recommendations
