The Christmasaurus

Such a cute and positive book! I really liked the style, the essence of the story about believing and miracles, how good William is and the fact that this book (listening to the audiobook) gave me so much hope about the goodness in the world. The story follows William Trundel, a very nice and good boy fascinated by dinosaurs. William is in a wheelchair, but I really liked the fact that it was not even mentioned in the beginning. Having him as the hero of the story melted my heart. His friendship with Christmasaurus and the lessons they learned about the importance of believing were amazing. The story also implies that even the bullies have dramas in their life and probably that is why they act like bullies in the first place. William is such a nice character and I cannot wait to see him reunite with Christmasarus again. I will definitely read the sequel.

An original, different and wonderful Christmas story. It has made me feel super Christmassy all the month, specially when enjoying the songs too. Loved it, book and cd.

So so cute!! Read it in one sitting

I enjoyed this one. A great children’s book reminding them to be kind and good. A really enjoyable read with a lot going on. The description and scene setting was fantastic.

Great for age 8+ I would say to read alone. There are lots of illustrations but it it mainly ‘wordy’. Otherwise, a great one to read together from a younger age.
hopeful inspiring lighthearted relaxing

A brilliant festive read for any person of any age

Sweet, silly, and festive. And DEFINITELY meant to be read aloud. I'm really looking forward to reading this to Fox when he's old enough. It's the kind of book that will make ANY kid (or kid-at-heart) get wrapped up (see what I did there?) in the Christmas spirit! I mean...santa, elves that speak in rhyme, flying reindeer, the North Pole - this book has it all. And also a dinosaur.

So glad to have read this book this holiday season!

This book was so magical and to read it at christmas time was even better!
I thought this story would be solely about dinosaurs which i'm not a huge fan of and honestly i only bought it because of the author. HOWEVER, this book was about so so much more.
It was about accepting yourself, being different, embracing our families and belief! 4 incredibly important topics that we need to do more of.
The story was beautiful, the message was beautiful and it was a wonderful christmas treat!

3rd read - 5 stars, I think this book feels even more magical and special this year after such a rubbish year for the world and it was just what I needed!
