This part was a great read for me. I really liked that I learned something about the main character's past. I also liked the storytelling style and the graphics.
I don't understand why people hate Orihime so much. In fact, I like her more than Sakura Haruno from Naruto as "the main lead's female buddy". She obviously has some angst, but she doesn't dwell too much on it, and her airheadedness comes off somehow as charming and endearing than downright irritating (which is the default reaction I have when coming face-to-face with such anime/manga characters).
