I enjoyed this and how readable it was. But I found the writing kinda simplistic and I guess considering this was written when she was 17 that is understandable but even so I found it a little too surface level.

I love this book so much. I first read it probably 20 years ago, and while my relationship with it has changed over time, I always find something meaningful in it. My biggest criticisms are the general lack of female characters (Cherry is wonderful and I wish we saw more of her) and the very fast pace of the book, but that's mostly because I love these characters and just want to slow down and spend more time with them.
