I had never read this before reading this with my 10yo boy. I enjoyed it more than the film but found the characters to be very two-dimensional.
Can't believe I have never read this! Wizard of Oz is hot at the library! I really enjoyed this audio book. It was like listening to an old time radio show.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Anna Fields and it was wonderful. I was shocked by how much of the colour stuff from the movie is actually in the book.
