I don't think I've ever read a better world building than this.
The plot, the characters and the story as so good that I was salivating.
Each character have a distinctive voice, well written and heard. I could not choose a side nor did I want to.
An Zhe is such an interesting character, especially his observations about human kind; Lu Feng is complex and incredibly, and weirdly, funny.
I love how not everything revolve around just them.
The community, the city, everything is so well written that I was captivated by the description.
The little teasing within the main character was gold and I cannot wait to read the rest.
My breath is still held from the last sentence.

Little Mushroom is one of my favorite danmei stories out there. Set in a post apocalyptic world, the main characters need to figure out how to adjust to the ever changing world. The main couple are great and this author and the translator did an amazing job at world building and making me care about side characters. If you like danmei, try and read this!

I cannot say enough about the word building in the story, it's developed so well and I enjoyed every bit of information I learned about it. An Zhe is such a unique character; quiet and curious and unfazed but most of what happens because he's so focused on his goal, retrieving what he lost.
I'm curious about Lu Feng, how attached and protective he became of An Zhe while still be laser focused on his duties. He has a soft exterior underneath his hard shell and I can't wait to watch it crack more.
Overall a brilliant, daunting tale of survival.
