I have no nostalgia for this but it was still really fun. I can’t wait to continue the series as it continues too.

Great!*
*Ok this was first published in 1983 and it is about a young girl pretending to be a young boy and therefore there is language in it that is arguably transphobic. I in NO way think this was the author's intent, I think she just didn't know. As such, if you have a child who you think might be questioning their gender, recommend this with caution. Explain to them that sometimes characters have limited worldviews and they may state things as facts that are not so. This is probably a good thing to teach all children, but children who are happy and secure in the gender they were assigned at birth will not be harmed by the passage I'm referring to, whereas children who question their assigned gender might be.
**I don't need you commenting anything like "those ARE facts!" or anything like that on this review. You're not going to change my mind and I'm not going to come back to argue with you.
