Great book! So fun to see some familiar characters (Christy and Sierra). I read some of those books back in the day and enjoyed them immensely. I liked finding out what they’re up to now, as well as meet some new characters.

Classic Robin Jones Gunn right here, which is awesome. She’s a profound author, skilled at her craft, and books like this illustrate that particularly well.

I first read this several years ago, and now reading it again, I loved it even more the than the first time! The picture painted of the real, raw friendships between the main women in the story are incredibly inspiring and encouraging. I also really appreciated the glimpse into the main character's life as she works through very hard things, and let's God use them to refine her. I'm looking forward to re-reading the next book...and am bummed yet again that the series doesn't include more books!

This is such a good book! Gunn never disappoints, but it’s so cool getting to read this as a young woman far from the stage of life these women are in. I pray God will give me a circle of people as sweet and Jesus-loving when I am in that season as the circle in this story!

Very uplifting, if a tad sappy. I liked how clean and wholesome it was, and that it had a Christian undertone.

My first Robin Jones Gunn book in many years (perhaps ever--I honestly can't remember if I read any of her books as a teen)! A sweet story of friendship.

Robin is one of my all time favorites authors and has been since middle school. I grew up with Christy Miller, so to get another book from Robin that looks into Christy’s life made me so incredibly happy.

This book has quickly become one of my favorite books from Robin, as I’m introduced to new characters. I don’t know how Robin does it, but every time I read about her characters I instantly feel like I know them. I feel like we are stead fast friends. I love it! Becoming Us gives me the warm feelings and poses life questions like her other books. It’s perfect and the writing is so easy to read.

Go pick up this book when it comes out. It is amazing and full of everything I have come to know and love in Robin’s books.

I liked this novels exploration into the realities of gathering together and building relationships. I enjoyed how many personalities were represented in the friendship group, and I could relate to the main character with her worries and insecurities as she makes new friends. Their gatherings were fun and I gained many ideas to apply to real life whilst freshly inspired to be intentional in building relationships.

Audiobook: 2.5 stars.
I struggled to connect with the audiobook, I think in my case it was the narrator’s reading style. This makes it difficult for me to know if I would have enjoyed it more had it been paperback. So I’ve settled with 3 stars overall.
