I read this series years ago when I was a small child. Like third grade. That was six years ago, so I'm marking all the books as read with the current day instead of the old one.
That said, the book wasn't as good as I remembered, but it was still pretty good. The writing was a bit jumpy, and not as descriptive as it is later on. It's definitely a children's book, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy it. It makes me happy, and I do say it's a rather good book. So four stars, even though my childhood self would probably give it five.

This book was recommended to me by my 11-year-old niece. She thought I would like it because, I like cats and book series. My niece described the series to me as "Game of Thrones with cats". I must admit, I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. There was intrigue, mystery, twists & turns, and fights for survival. As a reader, you almost forget that the characters are cats. I am happy that I have a new way to talk about books with my niece.

Almost DNFd this. The narrator was laughable at times, as was the content. I can vaguely see why I liked it when I was in elementary school, but it just does not translate well for me.

Read with my daughter and she loves this series! I enjoyed it and am looking forward to learning more about the characters in the future books.

A whole lot of fun! Looking forward to going through the rest of the series with my little.

this is the first time I've re-read this book in a decade and there was so much i didn't remember. it was such a fun read for me, i can't wait to get the rest of the books in this arc. i found the beginning a bit slow, but that's probably just me being a bit bored by the rusty chapters.

Nostalgic re-read that I finally buckled down and finished due to only being able to read on my phone. It is, up on re-read, rather graphic for children. Lots of cat deaths and fighting.

I found some books from this series at the Clunes Booktown Festival and the cover with psychedelic cats and cat warriors intrigued me. I borrowed it from the library and sat down to read, and i have to say, cat warriors i got. I wasn't 100% thrilled with it, but would definitely recommend this book to my 5/6 students. I think they would get a kick out of it and enjoy the story. - 3 stars.
