I cannot form the words to express how much I love Megan and Theo's story. J.T. did not disappoint, and has me blubbering like a baby once again. Do yourself a favor and give this one a read! I found it impossible to put down once I started it.

This book made me very angry. I did not like the ending. You don't really learn about Theo until the end because it's 100% Megan's point of view. She's obsessed with her dead husband and can't seem to get past it. In the end it seems like Theo is possessed by her late husband Cass or something. I actually felt really sad for Theo. So is he Cass or is he Theo? I don't really know. But at the end of the book essentially Megan's with him because she believes it's Cass not because she's in love with Theo although there is one line there in the book that claims they talked about it and she does love Theo. The first half of the book I probably would have rated four stars and the end half two stars. This is definitely not a love story and I left feeling depressed.

I wanted to love this book like I loved Pen Pal but unfortunately I didn't. The humor was a 10! I snort laughed so much during some of this book. I figured out the plot within the first chapter and I was really hoping she'd do some major spin to it. I was disappointed that I was correct (with my theory) but the Epilogue was good and made me not feel so mad at the end haha

Midnight Valentine was an enjoyable read. I loved the concept of it and the characters. It was sexy, funny at times and had a supernatural feel to it, kinda fated mates but not. My only real issue with it was I found it slow. Other than that it was an awesome read.

Not usually the type of books I’m attracted to but I really liked it. It’s a fairly quick read, very well written and poignant. I would’ve liked maybe more development at the end but overall it’s a great story about grief and unexpectedly finding love again.

I enjoyed Megan. She was strong given everything she was gone through. I love how witty she was even though she was broken. I think Theo could have been fleshed out more. Along with their relationship.

After penpal I was so excited. I wanted to love this and I did. Until it was predictable to a certain extent and then it had a very cookie cutter ending.
Her acknowledgment note and her initial ending would have made this a 5 star for me.
My other issue is the problematic character stereotypes of mental illness.
And the pregnancy thing. Oh my god so unnecessary. So traumatic for no reason.

I don’t like how this book made me feel. I just felt sorry for Theo and don’t think it was as romantic as the author intended.
