I wanted to love this book like I loved Pen Pal but unfortunately I didn't. The humor was a 10! I snort laughed so much during some of this book. I figured out the plot within the first chapter and I was really hoping she'd do some major spin to it. I was disappointed that I was correct (with my theory) but the Epilogue was good and made me not feel so mad at the end haha

But this one is pretty straight forward, it’s a love story.

If you want to feel alllll your emotions, this is your book. Honestly, I absolutely loved this book. It was powerful and moving and kept me always second guessing myself. I feared the ending, but it was perfect. A true pleasure to read, which I'm immediately going to do again, right now.

This one is more of the style I love from this author. The strange, physiological twists and turns make it so interesting! Now this will never compare to my love for “Pen Pal”, but nothing ever will. What kept it from being a 4 instead of a 5 star, was it seemed to have a huge jump in the progression of the story. Started off kind of slow, and then their feelings exploded over night. Other than that, great story, good HEA ending.
2.5 stars... some things I liked, some things I hated. It was almost too obvious. And if she talked about an electric buzz of attraction one more time.....

Where do I even start? I read this book in one day. I think in like 2 sittings. But god damn this was good. Geissinger just has a way of sucking you into the story and never letting you go.
This is my second standalone of her's that I've read and I ABSOLUTELY ADORED. The themes, the tension, the symbolism, and the strong female characters. Absolute masterpiece. I'm rating this a 4.5/5 ONLY because I would have liked to see a bit more of Megan and Theo after the climax AND I really wich there was a sequel for Suzanne and some of the other supporting characters.
