I loved Cory in Milly’s book and was excited for this one. Natalie is so amazing and I loved getting more of Jason’s antics.

the age gap really turned me off here bah

Another whiny, weak, insecure, gets her feelings hurt too easily and reacts disproportionately FMC.
funny relaxing

Oofta, these time skips are getting TIRED, Meghan. Also what’s with her obsession with Friends? Idk I’m getting bored of this author’s books.

Better than the previous book (Jason and Dottie) and I liked seeing Cory finally starting to settle in as one of the Rebels, but Natalie was a very bland heroine

As always Meghan Quinn's writing and banter was a star in this story! However, Cory and Natalie's has probably been my last favorite so far. I found their relationship a little too quick and "love at first sight" vibe. I understand Natalie was recovering from her previous relationship, but man her lack of confidence by the end of was annoying to read. Loved being able to see the interactions with the couples from the previous books.

I really like Meghan Quinn's writing, definitely a fun read but nothing to write home about. Would recommend but wouldn't re-read.

5 stars for The Trade by Meghan Quinn. I am a huge fan of Meghan Quinn and if you read this book you will understand why. Cory Potter is amazing, I just love his character. Cory is being traded to the rivals of his favorite team growing up. Cory attends a charity event for his teammate Jason. This is where he sees Natalie, but he is told she is married. Natalie is recently divorced and looking to get back into the dating game. Cory and Natalie have an ease about them. They have an instant chemistry. While they both have issues they are dealing with , they still seem to lean on each other. I loved getting to read about the rest of the gang. This book is adorable and make you love, love and love falling in love.

How do I love each couple even more than the last!
