This book is so freaking good! No it is freaking outstanding!
I loved the characters, Aurora, Seven, Elijah, Atticus and I can’t forget Ellie.
Each one has their own sad and tragic past. Each own is strength personified.
Just as the characters are unique and complex. So is the plot and story.
It’s gripping and compelling and I was consumed with it.
I loved the bond that the men had with each other. A bond not of familial blood but of their choosing.
Brothers not through parents. But by their choice. I loved their loyalty and commitment to each other.
It was heartwarming to see. Because of the pain and anguish they went through.
Beauty came out of the ugly.
To complete the picture comes Aurora and Ellie.
Aurora once she finds herself again is a freaking force of nature!
Her will and determination is something of awe. She is fierce and courageous.
But I also appreciated her big heart and how she felt the pain of Sev, Eli and Atticus.
After what happens between her and Atticus and that cliffhanger I’m just speechless.
I have to add after reading the book I think the title is pure perfection.

Aurora is finally on the run from her abusive boyfriend, and ready to start anew. Right up until the point she mows down a man standing in the middle of the road while driving through a rainstorm. To her surprise, him and his two friends invite her to stay with them as their live-in maid they so desperately need. Can she risk staying with strangers? Can she risk trying to survive on her own?

Holy fuuuuuuuuuck this was a great read! The action was great, the unhinged leads were interesting and unique, and Aurora was a fantastic FMC who's been beaten down and used and not willing to put up with it again. Add in her cute dog and I was sold.
I loved how she engaged with Seven right out of the gates, and slowly got to bring a little bit of trust into the home. From there getting to know Eli's back story and how he survived, absolutely tied them all together as a cohesive unit. And Atticus? He's got a thing or two coming.
I genuinely enjoyed how the authors peppered in open threads for the plot to continue in future books, but didn't leave it so vast that the book felt empty or lacking. We have so much information already, and clues as to where we can find more and what they'll do with it. I am absolutely frothing for book 2. Also that ending? Oof, immediately hooked me!
If you like unhinged leads with a bit of trauma, who are obsessed and willing to do anything for those they consider family - this one's for you!

ARC review ✨ this was absolutely 5 ⭐️ for me. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️All three men have flaws but are somehow perfect at the same time and all their personalities so different. She gets a little bit of everything with them. The cliff hanger has me absolutely needing book 2 immediately. I loved that the book was multiple POVs because not knowing what the guys were thinking sometimes would be driving me crazy lol I devoured this book in a day it really keeps you hooked at every turn and so many things happen even though it all comes back to the primary issue of their villain.

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️1/2
There’s still dirt on his cheek. The blood of my enemy splattered along the triple seven tattoo on his neck. And fuck if he isn’t the most beautiful monster I’ve ever seen.
Holy shit! Holy shit! I was NOT prepared for that ending!
Elena and Blake pulled out all the stops with this book. I loved Elena’s Boys of Briar Hall series and am so glad her muse pushed this story. It had me tight in its grip from the first chapter and pulled me right through to the last page.
Loved Seven! The psychos always make my black heart melt. Eli was a sweet golden retriever, also super easy to love. Atticus can fuck right off a cliff. That would make me happy.
This is a mixed-burn and spicy why choose romance. It is the first in a series and ends in a cliffhanger.
⚠️There are some incredibly dark themes and moments in this book, so please check out the TW before reading.
Thanks to Elena and Blake Lawson for the early review copy.

Where is book two?!
This book gave us an intro to three brothers and the girl they fall in love with. While they are related by blood, Eli, Seven and Atticus are bound by much more. Parents that loved them, and a need for revenge against the man that broke them. The spice was spicy. The banter was funny. I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought, it was a great time!
I really enjoyed the high stakes environment that was nicely combined with some down time. I am looking forward for future books to find out more about the guys and their history. Also, I love the dog and that the book started with the fact nothing happens to her!

HOLY HELL, THE ENDING MAY HAVE BROKE ME. This is a why-choose, dark romance centering around a girl escaping her past and a shitty boyfriend and 3 "brothers" seeking vengeance for their family. This story is so good - it captured me from the very beginning. I started this at 10 pm - which was a poor choice on my part - because it is now 9am and I DEVOURED the whole thing!! I couldn't put it down.
I am obsessed with the MMCs - Like all perfect RH books, this book has the golden trio of men - an unhinged golden retriever, Seven, a sensitive artist, Eli, and a rough, Viking-esque protector, Atticus. They are broken and complicated and so loveable - even Atty (tho I hope we get a good groveling scene in book two 😍).

I absolutely consumed this book, read it in a day and felt sad to have finished it. It’s a duet and so has ended on an absolute cliff hanger and I am desperate to know what happens. With some cliff hangers you feel like it all could have been made into one book but with this one I feel like it’s only just getting started!!! There is so much story left to come and I can’t wait.
The characters in this story are excellent. Each of the MMCs is bringing something different while all being morally grey. Everyone will have their fave and I think I will be in the minority here with mine being Atticus. Yes he is awful the FMC, yes he isn’t particularly nice to be around but yep he is my fave.
Aurora as the FMC is brilliant. Really well written to reflect a sad back story but a women is fighting back, taking control of her life and is not letting the three MMCs rescue her. Special mention to Eleven her amazing dog who adds lightness and joy.
This is a dark romance so check your triggers. It’s also a why choose but it is soo good and I get the feeling it’s probably only going to get darker and spicer and I am totally here for that!!

Absolutely amazing and it kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish! I honestly did not expect the plot to move in the direction it did, but I'm so happy with how everything is turning out. I cannot wait for the next book!!
Aurora Bellarosa begins this book alone, afraid, and traveling on a deserted road in a rain storm until she literally runs into three strange men. With nowhere to go and already running from danger, she takes them up on their offer for help and goes with them to their remote home. Sounds like the beginning of a horror story right...well, mostly right. Seven, Elijah, and Atticus aren't quite what they seem, but Aurora isn't either soooo it's a twisty turny story with ALL the wonderful dark vibes.
My favorite of everyone is Seven; there is no denying I love ALL the flags when it comes to a dark romance and Seven was freely flying them from the moment he met Aurora. I loved him instantly from the moment he crashed into her car right up until the last cliffhanger page. Seven is totally mine. 😉
As for Elijah he is the glue, although some may argue it Atticus, but I'm going to say it's Elijah and his quiet strength. He is sweetness and caring wrapped up in a soothing demeanor that just seems to calm everyone, especially his hotheaded friends.
Then there is Atticus, the controlling grump who is organized to a fault. He definitely has issues and is the toughest nut to crack, but he's also the one who keeps everyone healthy and functioning, so it's hard to fault him at times, but basically an a-hole with a good heart.
All three men work well together because they all rely on one another and have for years and years, but when Aurora falls into their laps she could mess everything up completely, or finally be the answer to their problem. This book is full of mystery, suspense, and lots of heat. I couldn't set it down for hardly a moment and I can hardly wait for the next book.

Wow! I LOVED Aurora. And I LOVED Seven. Like, this book was pretty DARK and violent. The spice wasn’t constant like…i think there were three, but it was HOT. My brain’s all over the place after finishing this book. It was chaos in all the best ways. All the characters were pretty grey, which was different and fun for me. I loved watching the FMC accept her darker thoughts and feelings, and slowly come to terms with her more intense nature. She embraced the idea and actions of not having to be the perfect good-girl. And the MMC’s helped her with it, while they all dealt with their own issues.
But holy cow batman. The cliffhanger 😭😭😭 can’t wait for book two already!
