I loved this book. Shocking, because its dystopian story could very well happen in our world in the not so distant future. Thrilling, as there was always another surprise around the corner, another unexpected twist.

I did really really enjoy this book. I do think the author is really clever.

I controversially felt really really bad for Issy though. I went to a q and a with John Marrs where he was talking about how he killed off a character who was inspired by someone he didn't like by them suffocating in a shipping container and as it turned out it was Issy that he killed. Like obviously Issy really is a psychopath but she is also a child so I feel a bit bad that she got the dying in a shipping container death....
