Once I got past the gimmicky names and the batman noises, I really started to enjoy this book. Also I really liked the main character in the last pages of the book, which I guess is the whole point because that's when he starts to like himself too. Anyways, the best part is the characterization of the native American characters and their struggles.

This may be a more of a- it’s not the books problem, it’s a me problem. The premise sounded good, but I just couldn’t get into it. I would have DNFed it , but I needed a Z book. lol. I also think I need to stop reading books in this time period. I can’t stand how they were talking. 🤷♀️
There's a vibe to this book that makes you feel like you're floating. I keep thinking Claire de Lune...Loved this one. Full review TBD
