The first half was mediocre but the second half definitely made me stan a little more
Me gustó bastante la manera en que el libro abordó temas sociales como los privilegios raciales, homosexualidad, bullying y adicciones mientras nos transportaba al pasado, aunque a pesar de todo me hizo sentir identificada pues son temas que se siguen viendo en la actualidad. Esto solo me recordó lo mal que está la sociedad. Narró todas estas verdades mientras se veía la historia de Jonathan, alguien a quien solo le pude tener mucha pena, se la pasaba diciendo que estaba enfermo y que tenía que ser arreglado. Con Web no tuve mucha conexión pero creo que fue un buen personaje.
Me encantó mucho el libro, pero me molestó la forma en que se desperdiciaron personajes como Starla o Scott, sus historias a simple vista parecían ser interesantes y me hubiera gustado conocerlos un poco más. Así que por esta clase de detalles se lleva un 4/5 estrellas.

Oh my Ziggy, I ADORE this book. I’ve honestly never read anything like it. I loved Jonathan’s whole journey he goes on and I feel in love with Web’s character. I feel like everyone deserves someone like him in their life. I can understand why people may not like the book, the writing seems a bit off at times, but I can’t bring myself to rate it anything lower than five stars. There’s some material in the book that can be triggering to some people, but other than that I’d highly recommend this book. This review is a mess but I can’t put into words how much I enjoyed this. All I hope is that Web and Jonathan stayed together and eventually get married. ⚡️

Si me pidieran usar una palabra para describir lo que leí sería: poderoso.
Este libro es increíble, a pesar de ser un poco largo jamás se hace pesado y te va llevando de una manera muy amigable junto a Jhonny.
Y hablando de él, es uno de mis personajes favoritos ever, está escrito de manera que automáticamente sientes empatía por él y al menos yo me identifiqué demasiado con él, solo quería protegerlo y que fuera muy feliz. Su historia y la de Web son trágicas, pero eso es lo que los hace más humanos. Realmente disfruté mucho leerlos juntos.
Este libro te da un empujón bastante fuerte de realidad, y las escenas fuertes que tiene te hacer proteger los derechos humanos como nunca antes y creo que eso es lo hace a un libro tan poderoso.
