Love Wes & Liz

I died a little every time someone said “gah”

Ok. I was quite shocked with how low the average rating is for this book. I understand how some think that it should’ve ended in the first book but I think this one actually shows more of what love can realistically be: messy, confusing, irritating, oh and did I say messy? (It’s not all sunshines and rainbows and fast reconciliation kids!)

Yes, they felt like different people — which was something that was acknowledged in the story multiple times — but shit happens and you can’t expect someone to be the same yk? Especially after all that happened between them.

I dont want to over yap but yeah. This one’s a solid for me. Still got me giggling and kicking my feet hehe.

Nothing Like the Movies was easy to read, entertaining, and I didn't want to put it down. So it gets major props for all of that.

However, it was wholly unnecessary and just not that impactful???? It does not hold a CANDLE to how genuinely GOOD Better Than the Movies is.

Read at your own risk.

The last few Lynn Painter books I have read have been beyond disappointing. I am so nervous for this.
