Unfortunately this was just bad. I couldn’t even tell this was a historical romance at first. So many historical inaccuracies throughout.
The spelling is atrocious as well.

Enjoyed this less than Bomb Shell but more than the Scandal and Scoundrel series (which I really only read for background info on the Talbot sisters mentioned in Bombshell)

“Kisses should not leave you satisfied. They should leave you wanting.”

a very saucy regency hisrom with a wallflower and a rake helping her complete her scandalous to-do list.

i found both characters really fun and likeable, and they had plenty of chemistry. i think the conflict tacked on at the end was a bit rushed and thrown in, but it wasn't dragged out so it was bearable.

lots of pining and sexy times, it was fun!

i liked the writing style but not the plot

In history and in Shakespeare, Julius Caesar was not an emperor and his wife was not known to be "smarter than the men who surrounded her".    The historical Julius Caesar was routinely unfaithful.  To  anchor the Nine Plans' love story as anything like the relationship between Caesar and Calpurnia was confusing.
