3.7 AVERAGE

One of her best books. Loved it.

This is a classic Kate Morton book that brilliantly weaves together multiples storylines, multiple points of view and a touch of mystery all in one. I loved this book from start to finish. It’s the perfect cozy fall read complete with a ghost story - which was one of my favorite parts of the book. If you’ve loved Kate Morton in the past... you will love her latest! Brew a cup of tea, get the fireplace going and curl up to read this book!

Really enjoyed it
emotional mysterious reflective slow-paced

It was like listening to my friends tell stories while we were sat around a fire. Also, the only audio book to make me bounce with surprise when I would put together a connection.

3.5 This book I had to push through a little bit because there were so many side plots that seemed “extra” at the time. But the ending brings a lot of it together in a cool way. I think there could have still been fewer plots though and still been fascinating to see how one house can bring so many people’s lives together.

Didn't finish reading it. Just didn't hold my attention like some of her other books.
