No notes, it's a must read. The first black sheriff in this small southern town in VA battling corruption, systemic racism, and now a serial killer is terrorizing this already divided community. I couldn't put it down. This was my first S.A.

Cosby book and let me tell you there's no going back. Now I want to read everything he's written.

Ive heard great things about S.A Cosby, but a black cop in a white town, where they undermine and disrespect him constantly? On top of a TW

school shooting

happening immediately into the story was just far too heavy and too much for me. Plus there was a lot of detail that became a bit too all consuming for my taste.
