Another very good book. Quite interesting to mainly focus on characters not in the first book, but it worked well. I really enjoyed Donald's story - I thought he was a very good, very flawed character with an interesting journey. My main complaint is just that I didn't enjoy bits that weren't with Donald as much!

I also enjoyed the way it was structured - the jumps forward in time were well done in terms of moving the situations on into new and interesting directions.

Looking forward to reading the third in the series.

Similar to the first, answers a lot of questions in the donald sections. when youre not with him the story seems much less important

Loved Wool and while I really enjoyed the first quarter of Shift and moving up the timeline, in the end it couldn't get me to care about any of the characters in the same way Wool did and I had to struggle through. Hope Dust recaptures the magic of Wool.
