Humorous characters and story, super illustrations, I genuinely like this series.
This book is quite enjoyable as a very light read. I read it all in one night if that gives any indication of its easiness to read. I read the whole series when I was younger and really liked them

This book is where mom, taking her ideas from Family Frolic magazine, decided to take the family on a road trip. This sounds like what I've dubbed in our household "Mandatory Family Fun" when I decided to take the family on fun-filled trips. So, based on this, I knew I had to read the book. It was hilarious. I laughed loud and inappropriately, it was so funny. I had to read it quickly since my son said he had some friends waiting to borrow it.
Wasn't bad, just mediocre. Not memorable, and not as funny as the rest. I enjoyed it nevertheless.
