One turn after another had me laughing from absurdity. Everything gets wildly out of hand faster than you can realise but *every second* is plausible. immensely entertaining. my favourite in the series so far.

This book had me laughing so hard there was actual tears streaming down my face. Love love love it.

Even though I kind of feel bad for Greg I still find his misadventures hilarious.

Funny!

Insane how much can go wrong on a family vacation. Hilarious and definitely one of my fav in the series.

Wonderful, as always! This one felt a lot shorter than the others for some reason - not that's a bad thing! Maybe it's just that the story was really quick. I had fun with this one as much as I have the other "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" books. This time, it's the Road Trip from Heck - which, I'm sure we've all had (I know I have. Even with the insane farm animals. Long story). If you already love the antics of Greg Heffley and his wacky family, you'll love this book. If you haven't read any of these - well, here's a great time to start!

I didn't like the "flow" of this book, as it's different than others in the Wimpy Kid series. This one's timeline all runs together with one story, versus past volumes where there were numerous mini stories. The result is the narrative feeling like it runs on and on. There were funny moments, like Manny + the pig. The lack of Rowley also impacted my review.
