This didn’t work for me at all. Between the Copaganda, the lack of real emotional development, and the male narrator’s vocal performance, I just found nothing to like here. Was I supposed to root for them?
Okay so I read these out of order completely and basically did 3, 2, and then this one. Which kind of made this more bearable because for one Charlie is my least favorite in all the other books and two I loved knowing everyone’s stories. I absolutely cannot stand Charlie and he is a complete child, but kept having to remind myself that they’re only 23 and that’s why they’re acting that way. I don’t understand why Ever was dead set on never settling down until her mom says ONE thing and then she thinks she needs to find the one like, the next day. I feel like they really didn’t have any sort of chemistry or personal connection, they literally just went at it like rabbits constantly and that was all their relationship was and they called it love. Definitely my least fave Bailey couple so far

A quick read that I personally enjoyed from Tessa Bailey (told in first-person present tense dual POV, which most of hers that I've read have been in third-person past tense so I enjoyed this change). I enjoyed seeing both characters struggle with their feelings for each other. The MMC Charlie was very charming, and the FMC was driven and independent, but they both fell hard for each other even though they were young (22yo FMC, 23yo MMC) and inexperienced with interpreting those feelings or commitment. I personally thought the MMC took things too far with sabotaging the FMC's dates, but she made him grovel sufficiently. I also agree the nicknames were kinda icky, but overall, it was a fun, quick read that would be good for getting out of a reading slump. I will likely read the next ones in the series when they become available from the library.

Duak narration - Samantha Cook and Alexander Cendese
Fabulous voices
This is a fun listen. A one night stand leads to a no strings attached kind of arrangment. Until things change. She has decided to try dating so she ends the arrangment but he is not giving up. He will try anything to get her back to the arrangement but things also change for him. Can these two get on the same page?
I enjoyed this book. The audio is great but dang it it had been duet narrated it would of made it 10 x better.

Fun quick read for in between the heavier reads. Very entertaining and fun to listen to, just wear headphones. ;)
Good start to this series! I really enjoyed both the MCs. At times I thought some of Charlie’s shenanigans went a bit too far, but he did have good intentions in trying to get Ever back.
It seemed crazy to me he was able to “visit” her on his lunch hour
