Cue the waterworks..

Be prepared to be full of emotions with this story. You know it’s a good read when you feel everything the characters are experiencing. The pain, the angst, the tenderness, the joy. The story or Hope and Kale will make you realize real love exists and as long as you push through and fight for it, it truly can be yours no matter the circumstances. I can’t wait to read more from one of my new favorite authors.

4.5 hearts!!

Well, here I thought no other A.L. Jackson hero could come close to Ash Evans. Boy was I wrong. I am completely in love with the swoony Dr. Kale Bryant. I was halfway in love with him after meeting him in the first book, Show Me The Way, (especially after his interactions with Sweet Pea Frankie Leigh) this book pretty much sealed the deal.

Follow Me Back is exactly what I wished for it to be. Emotionally charged. Sexy. Sweet. Angsty. There is a reason why A.L. Jackson is one of my favorite authors. Her gorgeous, heart filled words always manage to leave me feeling all the emotions. I'm almost positive I spent the last 20% of the book in tears. Straight up ugly crying my eyes out. The woman is a word genius.

Like every book I've read by this author, I fell head over heels for the characters. Kale is cocky, flirtatious and charismatic. I love his interactions with his patients. (My goodness is there anything sexier than a guy who is great with kids. Nope!) He's also a little broken. An unfortunate event in the past had caused him to avoid relationships at all cost. Living for his work, his friends and a random fling here and there. That is, until his instant and powerful connection to Hope and Evan.

Now, I have to admit, even with all that love I shared for Kale above, in this book Hope was my star. I will always root for a strong female and that's Hope for sure. She may come off as shy and a little closed in at first but then you come to see her fierceness and intense determination. Her dedication to her son, Evan, who by the way is the most adorable and completely huggable little boy ever, is admirable. She would anything for him. I just looove her. Harley Hope Masterson is one of my favorite A.L. Jackson characters to date

Follow Me Back is such an amazing read. You can tell this author poured her heart into it. I’m excited to read more from this series. I love it so much. I can't get enough of this town and these characters.

Follow Me Back is the second book in the Fight for Me Series. AL Jackson is one of the most talented writers I've had the pleasure of reading. She always pulls emotions from me that I didn't even know I had. Her writing is poetic and her characters are always written beautifully with their vulnerabilities, demons and accepting hearts. We met Kale Bryant in Show Me the Way and I knew he was going to be something special. He's a player, but he's smart, funny, loving and a doctor. A child doctor. Swoon. He's married to his job and he loves his patients. Them and his friends are all he needs. He's been running for so long, he forgot what it's like to stand still. Until he meets Hope. She's stunning with her red hair and her refusal to go home with him. He can't stop thinking about her and when fate steps in, he's not sure he can ever go back. He needs to see her. Touch her. Feel her. But she just can't. She has too much going on in her life and she can't risk it. She could lose everything. Can Kale stay away from Hope? Will they be able to stop the force that's pulling them together? I loved this story. I laughed, cried, swooned and sometimes laughed and cried at the same time. Kale melted me with his words and then make me want to smack him upside his head. Hope is strong, determined and will do anything for those she loves. This is a love story like no other. Just perfect.

"I don’t know what to make of you Kale Bryant."
"When I'm around you, I don't know what to make of myself, either."

Kale had kissed me in a way I hadn't ever been kissed before. As if I was beautiful and right and he wanted me more than anything else.

This story was amazing.

Focused on a single mother of a little boy with quite a birth defect. That however didn’t slow him down one bit.

Clever and witty at times and pulling on those heart strings at times.

The end made the entire story worth it!

I would recommend this to anyone ❤️❤️

***Audiobook Review***

Another great book by A.L. Jackson, she never disappoints! This book hit lots of emotion for me but in the end I was left smiling. Kale is a hot pediatric doctor with a past he hasn't quite moved past. Hope is doing everything she can to survive and protect what is important to her. She is a really strong powerful character. Together they have great banter and serious chemistry. Loved their story and without giving away any details all I can say is this book belongs at the top of your list if you haven't read it yet.

Andi Arndt and Joe Arden did a great job as always with this book!

Working slowly through the audiobooks I purchased through Audible, as I've put my account on hold mostly. Other than signing up for their new program of $2.95 a month for certain audiobooks that you can listen to, but aren't yours to keep. But anyway, this one was really good. This book had soooooo many emotions! And so much steaminess. I was yelling at the characters as I listened, but still loved it all the way. I didn't understand exactly why his friends were such a big part at the beginning, but then for a while they were not really part of the story. I felt that was kind of weird, but in the end, it all worked. Great story. Look forward to reading more in this series.

🖋 SNEAK PEEK REVIEW 🖋
The ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 4.5 stars story of Kale and Hope was one that will have your heart broken, aching, and feeling complicated for wanting more for these two. The emotions was present at the start and was constant throughout the read. Then to throw more in the mix we have sweet, Evan who had me teary eyed just on who he is and the beautiful being that you cannot help fall hard for. A boy that will have you wanting to hug and cuddle your love ones and never let them go.

Two people broken in their own way; however, the only ones that seem to make each others' day. Something about their connection has them drawn to each other. The challenge is facing the past and moving on. With things holding them back...it is the risks that they will have to decide whether it is worth the fight and making this book so much more than I anticipated.
