What a great end to a great series. As always I love Neil Patrick Harris, and his humor shines through throughout this series, and is still shown here. That being said, this final book is a little more serious, but still enjoyable. Still has some great magic tricks to learn along the way. And I very much enjoyed the ending.
Yes I am well aware that I am above the age this is aimed at, but I think a good story can be good no matter whom it is aimed at.
I truly hope that we see more books from Mr. Harris, weather in this series at some future date, or with a new story/series for all to enjoy.

A cute end to this series. I hope we see these guys again. Olly and Izzy deserve a book!
NPH does a great job writing to the intended audience of kids without talking down to them. The moral of learning to live with and work past your mistakes was subtle and relatable to kids.
And the illustrations are so cute. I want more of them. I wish I had read a physical copy though because I love the decoding and secret messages that are added.

What a magical ending to a magical series. I will definitely read these again. I highly recommend them.

While the series remains sweet, this installation is darker than you would expect for something aimed at such a young audience. Except for that weird twist where you can give dark to kids sometimes and they don't quite grasp how dark it just got.
