Not the most boring book I've ever read. I really enjoyed that chapters were quite quick, with lots of personal examples. I feel like the information is very informative and helpful especially if you work in sales.

I ended up skimming a lot of it, he dragged on with analogies and descriptions that I didn't really find helpful.
It probably doesn't help that he refers to various politicians and political stories, politics have never interested me much and this book is over-saturated with it.

IMHO there is a lot of hype around this book. The book tries to sell some ideas which at times are not sincere or ethical. The good ideas could fit into a single chapter or less. The author draws upon lots and lots of examples and anecdotal references to prove his point by referring to anecdotes which cannot be validated. In general, there are some good ideas, but don't fall for the stars people give.

Amazing. Great read. Everyone should read this. It's a classic.

"Compared with what we ought to be, we are only half awake. We are making use of only a small part of our physical and mental resources. Stating the thing broadly, the human individual thus lives far within his limits. He possesses powers of various sorts which he habitually fails to use."

Thes principles of this book have become common knowledge by now, which shows how influential this book has been! Still, a good reminder from time to time on how to be a better fellow human.
