I'm a sucker for childhood love stories. Both Sylvie and Creed were really cool characters but some of the circumstances of the story had me scratching my head, but the sweet love story was great.
Re-read (audio) in 2023.
Not changing my original review because that’s not fair, but just making a note that although I usually enjoy rereading most KA books, I just won’t get to this one again.
I had totally forgotten what it was about … and in retrospect, it should have been a sign

I started this immediately after reading Knight because I just loved the voice shown in the teaser chapter at the end of the ebook. During the first chapter, I thought that the voice was a guy. That's how ballsy she is. Then when I realised she's a woman I fell for her. Hard.
Sylvie us the most badass chick ever. She puts other badass wannabes to shame. I truly loved her and her story with Creed was so touching.
The novel was a focus on character development rather than story. Not to say the story wasn't great but there was no massive climax. But I didn't care. Nobody delivers great characters like Ms. Ashley.
I seriously recommend this to anyone looking for something a little different, and to anyone sick of samey female leads.

I liked the audio version of this one just as much as I did Knight.
This. Book. No one writes badasses and alphas like KA does, and for me, Creed really knocked it out of the park. Not only did you get an awesome love story that you can't put down, but you also get a badass female lead character.
This book had it all. From romance to drama to sexy good times and action. I just loved it.

It should have been called Sylvie. It didn't read very antihero-y. The sex was.....regular. That being said I didn't hate it. It just wasn't what I expected.
