I like Claire Lispector is a philosophical genius. At the same time, I think I may just be stupid.
After starting this book, I had to take a few month hiatus for fear that it would send me — a person who has famously never reacted normally to anything — into an existential spiral. It was difficult to finish for the same reason. Thank goodness I am a little philosophically challenged and some of this went over my head because if I understood everything I think this would’ve irreparably changed my brain.

love the way Lispector writes and how she creates this stream of consciousness. she’s actually amazing. the literal definition of little plot but beautiful prose. I also have a breakdown when i accidentally kill a bug :(
