Agatha Christy is an amazing storytelling. No matter how many books I read, I will never be able to predict who it is that commits the crime. I love all her books and this audio was amazing!
So much Poirot in this one, and the icing on the cake...Hastings and Japp too. Very enjoyable mystery with many twists and turns!

A really fun mystery with lots of moving parts. It all wrapped up very well with a twist I didn’t really see coming.
I love Agatha Christie and I most decidedly love Poirot and our steadfast and faithful Hastings. I can find no fault with Christie's mysteries, no clue that tips me off to the ending, and yet, this one, despite its astonishing ending will not be a favorite of mine.
There is something I disliked about this party of characters from the onset. Everyone is a bit shady, as is to be suspected with an Agatha Christie mystery, but usually there is something genuinely relatable and likable about most of the characters as well.
All in all it was enjoyable, but not one I would hold in high esteem.

Whilst on holiday in Cornwall Poirot meets a young women who appears to have had several attempts on her life. He sets out to ensure that she is not harmed and to find the culprit.
I loved this book it had so many twists and turns. Poirot was also a lot more human doubting his ability and constantly fearing for the young womans life. For the majority of the book he didn't know what was happening it was only in the last few chapters that it pulled together with a brilliant twist at the end. Maybe my favourite Poirot so far.

Dit is al jarenlang een grote favoriet, en ook dit keer ben ik niet teleurgesteld. Poirot is fantastisch, de twist op het einde nog altijd goed en niets van het plot loopt van de rails af.
I tried to learn French with this one. I did not succeed.
A truly excellent Agatha Christie, despite including more than its fair share of casual sexism.
