Well, the queen of mystery does it again. Christie leaves a few clues about to lull you into a false sense of security, like "hey, maybe I'll figure out who did it before the last page." But then comes the ending and you're wrong as usual. Great story!!

Nothing like a good Christie. This one is another Poirot twisted tale whodunit that I didn’t guess ahead of time and enjoyed the reveal greatly.

This is the first Poirot story I've read where some of my suspicions were correct, so that's kind of cool. Though I shouldn't give myself too much credit, I just

Solved this at about 90 pages in so either the flu has given me super detective powers or Christie was slacking on this one

Another amazing Poirot novel by Christie.

The semi retired Poirot and Hasting are on holidays at the coast when they encounter a young lady at the moment an attempt is made on her life. And a race to find out who’s behind it starts, but of course it’s not that simple, it never is with Christie.
