I was so confused at first because it didn't seem like there was that much left to the story when I finished number seven. But I absolutely love that we get all of these side stories and other people's viewpoints both before and after and get to see how their lives turned out.

Rounding up to 3 stars, because I loved the series proper, but was really disappointed that the last 80% of this book was supplementary material. I was bored through the end. I wish they would've put the end to the series in book 7 and made all of book 8 supplementary.

The ending was a solid good ending and I absolutely adored the extras and epilogue. I'm so glad I went on this journey.
