This was a fun small town fake engagement story. It feels more of a spin off to the series than the first two books did as we’re taken out of Boston and don’t interact as much with the sisters. Mel basically forces her way into a B&B that is still under renovation and after an incident in the hospital ends up as the fake fiancée to Evan. His cousin wants them to keep it up because their family is finally coming together after fighting over selling the inn for years. Mel cant help but fall for Evan and his whole family, finally feeling like she belongs.

This was a quick read and great palette cleanser. I liked that the third act breakup was not dwelled on too long, they both had their reasons and apologized for not respecting them.

This was supposed to be three books but it seemed like there could be a fourth with how another couple was introduced at the very end. I would continue the series if there is more, and that would put two books in Nova Scotia, making this feel like more of an interconnected series.

Amy Lea’s influencer series has ended on a high and that is bittersweet.
I have enjoyed this whole series so much I didn’t want it to end and whilst any of these books can be read on their own it’s a treat to read them all.
Cora’s Cove sounds idyllic and the Whaler family are the perfect group of people to bring our main character, Melanie, ‘home’.
A small town grumpy x sunshine romance that you really won’t want to put down, I love Amy Lea’s style of writing and she has become an author ’must read’ for me.
This book has a great setting, a great romance and great supporting characters…. Definitely recommend!

I received this book as a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
