Slight knock off of the film The Proposal at times, but cute and easy to read.

Thank you to Netgalley and Berkley Publishing Group for the ARC.

I wasn’t sure I’d love the small town boy + city girl trope with Mel but I really did. Ethan probably helped because, come on - loyal, family oriented, sexy fisherman is sarcastic and can sing.

The insta love was a little much for me but I was able to look past it somehow because they seemed to do so much in so little time.

Fake dating. Enemies to lovers. Small town boy /city girl.

mmm not sure ab this one

Thank you PRH Audio for the listening copy, receipt of which did not impact my review. The Catch was a cute fish-out-of-water romance between lifestyle influencer from Boston, Melanie, and lobster fisherman in small-town eastern Canada, Evan. Melanie has always felt like she's still searching for her place, her home - and by the end of her two weeks with Evan and his family, she just might have found it. I thought this was a cute listen and enjoyed the narration of Kelsey Navarro Foster. I've listened to a few books she's narrated lately and she's fantastic!
