I have to say, this book caught my attention quickly! I loved the multiple points of view because it’s from more characters views than the FMC and the main love interest. It kept the story moving but with fresh perspective and mystery, I really enjoyed it. I am so excited to continue this story in book 2!

The Fmc is just to cluless and weak and she reads like she is 16. The MMC's are all assholes and not in a good way, and tho some are 30 they all read like 19.

This book had me sucked in from the start. It has an engrossing start and just keeps pulling you in. Rhiana is a brilliant FMC, we learn with her about the magical world and everything she has been kept from, as an unregistered magic holder. Being sent to the academy and figuring out all she has to learn, being bullied non stop, crushing on the enforcer and the professor, how can she possibly stay and learn when it would be easier if she was on the run again? I love seeing her flare up at all the influences around her. And the men, the boys at school, the friends, the pet pig! All of it is just so interesting!
