This book had me sucked in from the start. It has an engrossing start and just keeps pulling you in. Rhiana is a brilliant FMC, we learn with her about the magical world and everything she has been kept from, as an unregistered magic holder. Being sent to the academy and figuring out all she has to learn, being bullied non stop, crushing on the enforcer and the professor, how can she possibly stay and learn when it would be easier if she was on the run again? I love seeing her flare up at all the influences around her. And the men, the boys at school, the friends, the pet pig! All of it is just so interesting!

The first book in this series is a quick read that will make you hooked from the start. There are questions from the start that will leave you hanging. If you enjoy academia you’ll definitely enjoy this book! I do wish their had been more info about the school itself, how and why it came into existence, especially since the majority of the book takes place there.  This is not necessary to the story at all however, and there is still a lot of world-building.

There is ALOT of bullying, and severe and graphic at that, so if you enjoy this type of book you’ll greatly enjoy this book! I do wish the nicknames varied a bit, using the same one all the time felt a bit much. There is a warning at the beginning of the book about this, which is always appreciated!

The book does not end with a HFN ending, and it ends quick. You’ll definitely want to read the next two books in this series right away!

Review: FMC Rhianna has been an unregistered magic user and on the run with her aunt her whole life, but then she is tracked down by the “Man in Black,”
and he and his friend Stone bring her back, and she is allowed to go to an academy instead of a labor camp. There’s a mean girl story arc, reluctant fated mates, etc. –
all in all, a lot of this book feels like other books I’ve read before and nothing was really surprising. It’s not terrible; I just feel like nothing new is being done, and it’s all something I’ve read before.

I am a fan of bully romance (with redemption), but I don’t know if I will continue this series, maybe after I read some of the other things that have been sitting in my TBR first.

Fractured Fates, book 1 of The Arrow Hart Academy series, by Hannah Haze, @hannahhazewrites.

I enjoyed reading about Rhi & getting to know her future harem. I devoured this Academy, current times, bully PNR romance in just a few hours. So good! Minimal smut scenes & lots of world-building.

Fractured Fates (The Arrow Hart Academy Book 1) By Hannah Haze is a fantasy story with a little magic. After reading the synopsis I jumped right in excited because it presented so many different tropes all in one book; fantasy, RH, bully and paranormal. It definitely did not disappoint in covering all of them.
Rihanna arrives at the Academy going from one interesting situation straight into another. Of course the situation at the academy is not easy with how cruel several students and even older professors can be. During this entire time she stays true to herself which does impress me.
The book does end on a cliffhanger so I was thankful to have book 2 ready and waiting. Hannah Haze wrote an interesting book and I definitely would give it a read! I am jumping on to book

Holy hell I literally stayed up all night to finish reading this book knowing good and well I have to work in the morning. I can’t wait to start the next one but I’ll have to. This slow burn leaves you with so many questions and the urge to throttle some people.
