One of my most favourite books in the whole world, by one of my most favourite authors.

I love everything about this book; the beauty, the characters, the plot.

I want to be Brienna. I want Cartier to be real. I want to be impassioned.

Also, the ending is ❤️❤️❤️

I recommend this book to anyone who asks for a book recommendation. It’s a gentle historical fantasy; the magic is simple, gentle, and so so beautiful.

If you want a book that feels magical and soothing to read then this is definitely the book for you.
