I’ve loved the two other Febos works I’ve read and I find her inspiring as a memoirist. This took me longer to finish than her others, maybe because of the combination to memoir and secondary sources, maybe because this summer has been hard. Still, I really, really liked it.

A little more dense and meandering than I was wanting at times. Basically a spiritual-awakening memoir, which I enjoyed more than I would’ve expected. Lots to think about and I’m sure this will sit differently for me in a few months or years. I feel somewhat torn about when the author chose to end this book. Maybe because it held a mirror to my own attitudes & expectations :) Anyways, worth a read!

Really really liked. The subtitle is misleading - it’s more about enacting a desire for personal change and reflection on past patterns
