Meh.

What with the two books before this, I never thought I'd really like this one, but I did! I loved this book! It wasn't awesome; there were some really sappy scenes and stuff, but overall, it was really good! And I actually wouldn't mind reading a sequel!

I think Stefan & Elena should & will end up together. Leaving Damon for Bonnie. Now Matt & Meredith should find someone....maybe each other?

Slightly slow in places, the ending was awesome though... kinda like what I imagine Ulquiorra's (from Bleach)return to be like! :D

it was okay...not as good as the first 4 books though...and chapter 28/29 made me sad...all that character development and bad stuff happens...

Was relieved to see it end. Didn't dislike the ending.

I am NOT reading the new sequels (enough is enough)

I have mixed feelings about this book. Honestly I skipped through a lot of it to get to the end. I really love the characters, but I felt a little lost in parts of this book this time. And I felt there was a lot of un-needed stuff added in that I really didn't want to hear about or didn't make sense to the story line, or that is my opinion. However, I finished the book and I loved/hated the ending. Now let me explain. I was happy with the ending for most of the characters, but I really became a Damon fan, let's face it I love the bad boys. And I'm feeling a little perturbed that his story didn't go where I wanted it to go...BUT it looks like there may be another book?? So I may forgive L.J. Smith afterall on this one.

I did, however, like that Damon was out of the picture and that Elena could finally make up her mind and see that she had a great thing with Stephen. But frankly, I'm sorta sick of her and the way that she was bouncing between the 2 boys after what Katherine did to them years ago. So I sorta think that if both boys dumped her, it would serve her right. They should both run off with Bonnie or another girl of their choosing. Anyway, that's my rant. I did enjoy the books and I will read another one if it comes along, but they are no longer among my most love and waited upon books. Sorry, L.J. Smith...I know I haven't outgrown the vampires, so I don't know where you let me down.
