Found it motivating.

I've enjoyed reading Dan Brown's books so far. This one was as you'd expect. However, it wasn't until this book that I realized how silly and contrived the dialogue is. It's less that Langdon is really smart (and sometimes, he's not) and more that the other characters, while often supposedly being brilliant in their field, are just utterly dumb whenever they're talking to Langdon. Oh well - still an enjoyable read.

For me, the Langdon series started off strong, but each successive book loses a little more luster. There's really not a lot you can say about the books without dropping spoilers, so I won't touch on the plot a whole lot other than to say there was one puzzle that I solved before the book characters and I had a brief moment of smug superiority before I learned exactly how much I didn't know.

There were a few little details that bothered me. Editing wasn't great this time around and there were several instances of repetition that were unnecessary. I'm too lazy to go back and look, but there was something early on from the antagonist's POV that made the big reveal seem improbable if not ridiculous.

I'll go ahead and give the next book in the series (Origin) a chance, but unless it's a mind-blowing experience, it'll probably be my last journey with Langdon.

Well, my rating for this one would be 3 stars.

It's mostly like previous two books by Dan. That is, I kinda of knew what was going to happen. That took out half a star from my rating.

And this time I felt like this time he was trying to push hard on a agenda with which I personally don't agree with. This was not the case in previous two books.

Overall a good read. Enjoyed it.
Will continue with inferno and origin in future InshaAllah.

While I loved this book, it was not as good as either De Vinci or Angels and Demons. The pace was great and it made me think, but there seemed to be more unneeded plot twists then in the previous books. Dont get me wrong, I loved it and will read his next without doubt.. I just think Brown set the bar very high with his last 2 books.
