The story and opening of the book is wonderful. I love the authors prose and voice. But I just couldn’t get over how fast she fell for him, it just felt unbelievable. And the fight scenes were so quick to happen, I wanted more action there.

Fantasy based Roman Gladiators fighting to the death with elves, trolls, ogres, vampires oh my! 

Premise was more interesting than the story enfolded but all in all decent.

This book started out so great and then it unfortunately fell flat for me. It almost becomes a totally different storyline that barely meshes together. I enjoyed all the fight scenes though
