I listened to this book while doing my job shelving books at a used book store, it made the experience much more cozy. I think listening to it was nicer than reading it because his voice is comforting and he pronounced the danish words that would have been hard for me to read. I especially liked the parts where he read the recipes or maybe I was just hungry. Overall I’d say the experience was Hygge!
I liked the concept of Hygge and would like to adapt a more Hyggeligt lifestyle, but I found the book a little bit repetitive.

I’m reticent to call any book perfect, but the novel sets out to do exactly one thing (explain to a reasonable degree the Danish concept of Hygge to non-Danes) and it succeeds.
