Reading this made me want to stay snuggled in bed reading, with a cup of tea. Basically, I'd like to make my life slow down a bit and be a bit more 'hygge'. I always tell myself I need to live more in the moment and stay positive to make my life happier. This has only reinforced that.

This books doesn’t really tell you anything you don’t already know about happiness but it was a good reminder. Fun to learn about Danish culture too. Very quick read
too often it feels like reading a high school essay with a minimum word count

Perfect cleanser audio in between books! While this book is nothing revolutionary and can be a little repetitive it’s a quick, cozy read that is a great reminder to slow down and enjoy the cozy things in life.
Hygge could easily just be called “being a Cancer female.”
So, OK… if you’re the type of person who: a) doesn’t already know that things like watching Lord of the Rings under a soft blanket, drinking by a fireplace with an intimate group of friends, and Christmas are extremely comfy, and that comfort makes you feel light and happy, b) needs a constant reminder of A, c) treats your bookcase as a perfectly curated selection of books that represent your values, personality, and interests, rather than a place to shelve the books you’ll read again, then yes, buy this book.
Otherwise… eh. I appreciate the concept, the recipes, and the design, but there really wasn’t much to learn here. I can’t see many people actually gaining much from this book.

This book found me just at the right time. If you'd ever feel stressful, just read a few chapters, surround yourself with candles and of course a cup of hot chocolate and your worries will fade away immediately.
Lovely book on hygge! Hygge is a wonderful Danish concept/lifestyle surrounding feelings of coziness. This book includes lots of tidbits on what hygge is and how you can include more hygge in your life.
cute and cozy for this time of year…nothing special though, a bit too long & repetitive and nothing I didn‘t know already…it‘s basically the same as/similar to the concept of „slow living“ & mindfulness, but this book felt very privileged with all the „things you should buy to feel hygge“ and „going to the cabin“/„going sailing“, like bruv I don‘t have that kind of money yet lol...
