Definitely repetitive, probably overly simplistic, but was fun and a good time. I'd recommend it for a book you don't try to finish, but just cruise through whenever you wanna pick something up.

A great list of ways to find hygge. Ends with a bang (argument in favor of socialism).
Coziness = Happiness
An overall interesting read, but nothing earth-shattering in my opinion. It talks about how hygge, a Danish concept that everyone can understand once explained, makes people overall happier. It shares ideas on how to bring hygge into your own life, both through actions and surroundings. It gave some good tips that I'd definitely like to incorporate into my own day-to-day.

The crusty “unhappy people from unhappy countries” energy is here in full force. I’m not entirely sure what people expected when they picked up this book but the whole point flew straight over their heads.
It’s not a real page turner, just a basic “how to” guide. Slowing down, being comfortable, and taking time for yourself/family/friends is a really hard topic for some people to understand (looking at Americans and Brits specifically). Just take what resonates, leave what doesn’t, and chill out. These reviews are extra salty. Sounds like some people could use a hot drink and a nap here.

After all the hype surrounding hygge the actual book wasn't that interesting.
Just reading this gave me Hygge vibes!
I already knew what the essence of hygge was before reading this but tuis book explains it so well, and I love the addition of the research findings included throughout. I studied Psychology at college so it was a nice little throwback to my college days when Wiking was explaining his data. The illustrations made it super easy to understand as well as a fun learning experience. I may find myself googling to find out more about The Happiness Research Institute Copenhagen!
I read the majority of this book curled up on the sofa under a fluffy blanket - the certified, only way to read this book.

Really more of a pretty book then useful. Learned a bit about Denmark. And hope to achieve a bit more hygge at home.
