Quick easy read. I learned a lot about hygge, happiness, and enjoying the little things

I found it repetitive but I like the concept and got some nice ideas from it.

Fun quick read with some actual science backing up its claims.

This book could have been distilled into a very excellent pamphlet.

I bought this book on vacation in Copenhagen. A little touristy, yes. But, I’ve been hearing about hygge for years and I wanted to learn more about it and why Danes are consistently rated the happiest people in the world. This was an interesting book filled with ways to produce hygge (cosiness in the soul) in your life and home. I’ve already taken some steps towards making our home more hygge and I look forward to trying to implement more of these ideas in the future.
