Ідеальна книжка на зимовий вечір, але нуднувато

I loved many of the principles in the book, but I couldn't help but feel that the author was writing from such a privileged white male perspective. Even though he included a section on "hygge on a budget," very few people could afford to live as he does.

DID NOT FINISH: 60%

It felt too pretentious, and it wasn’t offering enough new or exciting insight to make up for that. I liked some of the general ideas behind it but this could have been a blog post.

It’s a sweet, but mostly unsubstantial read. Some pleasant tips that remind us happiness is most readily found among the people you know and the things you already have. Last chapter perhaps the most interesting with its discussion of what differentiates Denmark and other countries with a strong social contract.

Maybe it is because I just bought a house with a fireplace, but I'm ready to hygge it up

It was... nice.
I loved the philosophy behind the word hygge. And I really liked how this book was put together, with all that photos and staff.
But as for the reading experience itself... I found it a bit boring. Maybe because I'm not a fan of non-fiction books whatsoever. I can really appreciate this book for what it is and I can see why people would love it. I just wasn't one of them.

A cute, informative book.

Interesting, quick read with a dash of humor thrown in. I look forward to incorporating more Hygge into my life, especially during the dreary winter months.
