I love the way Ms. Miller was able to skillfully weave three completely different women’s lives together.
Important issues like mental illness, marital struggles, the damage of secrets, distracted driving, and the effect of forgiveness were addressed and in a way that allowed the reader to possibly see themselves in it. I know so did.
It did have the happily ever after ending that most Christian fiction books have. Everything turned out great for everyone. I’m sure that happens sometimes but wrapping everything up in a neat bow feels a little too convenient to me. For this reason I took a quarter of a star off what would have been a 4 star read.

The premise for the book is very intriguing and focuses on the bounds of forgiveness. The story was interesting and I found myself drawn into the world of Alexi, Trish, and Marquita and rooting for them all. They are all struggling with their own issues but I enjoyed how their faith bought them together, or more Trish's faith. The story was well-paced and kept the reader engaged until the end. The big twist felt a bit forced and honestly I would have enjoyed the book better had that been left out. I think there was enough of a solid story of redemption and forgiveness without making some big revelation/white savior moment. Without the plot twist, I thought Alexis was towing that line but when she made it her mission it just felt forced. Overall, I give the book 4 stars. Highly recommended.
Thank you to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson for an ARC.

What a beautiful story on how 3 woman's lives are intertwined. Although it did deal with some tough subjects it was very moving and the ending made me happy.
