Found this through kindle unlimited and from the cover I assumed they were gymnasts but they are actually tug of rope which was super funny to me.

Also Gabriel being the captain the previous year, the team losing and getting second place and then in the new term he SWAPS schools to join the first place team over losing at tug of rope.
Oh my god, when I figured that out I found that so fucking funny. Dude has such a fragile ego he lost the championship and swapped schools to the team he lost to

It was very enjoyable. Nice to see plus sized representation, especially in a sport. The relationships, especially the ending one, could have been developed better. Overall, good.

I've never read a book about competitive tug-of-war, seems interesting. I'll be reading the next volume for sure!

It’s okay, like don’t like how it’s says that the mc is tackling two “potential” boyfriends when it’s not that at all, very predictable and overall meh. It was cute in general, no thoughts kinda read

I absolutely love this series. Amazing illustrations, FIT characters, and so much queer representation. It’s a beautiful story that h keep coming back to time after time.

This is just a chapter of Volume 1, so it's super short, but it's the start of a cute story. Domo is an Anchor in Aster Academy's tug-of-war school team. 2 months ago, after a competition, his friend and teammate Gave kissed him...then ghosted him. They haven't spoken since. Now Domo is back for a new school term and Gabe is gone. Domo has been made co captain in Gabe's absence, and a new complication arrives in the form of new student - pro ballerina - Emil...who seems to have taken a shine to Domo!
