Despite the books thus far being very good, it was nice to change direction a little bit and focus on another story. I also liked that in this case, the stakes were a little lower. We follow a girl who is destined to be a wizard, despite the fact that women have never been wizards! It was lighthearted, fun, but with enough tense moments to keep you reading on.
