I really liked this story, and the characters’ journeys throughout the book. They both had their own challenges and tried so hard to act like they didn’t like each other, but when they finally gave it, I loved how they communicated and committed to supporting each other. A lot of topics were hit like biphobia, mental health, injury management, career struggles, burnout and family support. This was really cute take on the topics

I wish I could read the comics that were written by the two MCs, see the art that was described to us! I need that mermaid star crossed lovers graphic novel NOW!
It was refreshing to read a couple helping and healing each other, not becoming resentful or assuming things, but talking it out. Very refreshing. I also really appreciated the way Noah’s pain and the cycle was highlighted, how you can get lost in something and let yourself go down a path you know you shouldn’t.

The only thing I would have liked more is a little bit more tension, the yearning didn’t last long enough for me.

A cute and fluffy sapphic romance where both characters are MATURE and behave like actual adults. I just turned brain off and enjoyed the love story and the smut honestly. Recommended as light and refreshing read suitable to get you out of a reading slump if you really like this genre.

This is such a beautiful story. I lived the way they explored family dynamics and friendship as well as the romance. I also appreciate how the characters grow and learn to communicate leading us to escape the dreaded third act break up. Solid 10/10 i recommend it.

10, 10, 10 across the board! I love this book so much, I will probably reread it once a year. This was an amazing book with such good character development. Being a black women, I related so much to both of the main characters and the struggles they faced. I recommend this book to everyone!
